I was working downtown at the time and that morning I took my Ttops off and was driving (creeping) down the freeway while watching Shrek (just came out on DVD at the time) on my way to work. Even remember pulling over because it started to mist ever so lightly, which I thought was weird (it doesn't start to rain until a little later in the year) and I wanted to put my Ttops back on. It wasn't until I walked in the office and turned on my radio that I heard it. I just kept thinking, I had no idea the whole way in because I was watching that movie instead of listening to the radio for a change.
That afternoon I called up my buddy and had him install Alpine's TV receiver so I could watch the news and stay a little more informed as to what was happening each day while sitting in traffic.
